So I finally upgraded to a PS4 but sadly that meant leaving behind my beloved pink controller! And for some reason Sony has forgotten about us lady gamers and those of us who love pink and they currently have not made a pink controller. Though I kept my PS3 so I can still use my beloved controller I wanted one for the PS4 as well. So I got to browsing Amazon...There were lots of skin decals for controllers and systems but with the silicon you get the extra protection to your controller over sticker decals. I came across this one. It was the right price and color.Some people have said the shade of pink sometimes varies and might not look exactly like the product photo. Mine is a bit lighter than what is pictured but I was not too disappointed because it came very close to the color of my PS3 controller. I have also attached a photo.Its super simple to put on. Just stretch it over the entire controller. It really does feel like it will tear but I promise it won't. The feel of this is nice. I actually prefer this over the bare controller. I have found that the new controllers are wider which made reaching the analog sticks a bit more uncomfortable for those of us on the smaller side. With this skin it added to it making gaming much more comfortable for me. I felt like I had much more control.Some folks are saying that it does make it too bulky to be placed on a cooling/charging dock that would normally fit 2 controllers. I have not bought one at this time so I would not know if this is true or not. Others have said they need to remove the skin to be able to charge it with another controller on a dock; but they have said that it has held up through being removed and put back on multiple times so it is durable. Honestly those charging docks come with USB ports and you should just be able to plug it in if you don't want to remove it all the time. I can see it not fitting on the dock being an issue though as it does add some bulk to the controller (which I liked). The silicon itself is not too thick though to make it feel gross and super bulky, I think it added just enough and makes it durable.There is only one thing I have noticed with the silicon skin and that is sometimes I find that the skin slides down a little which has inhibited one of my analog sticks from being able to be pushed all the way up causing certain actions not to execute accurately (like sprinting and gliding). I find I just have to pull it up out of the way when that happens and put it back into the correct position. This could also just be from how I hold the controller but I feel its worth mentioning just in case. All buttons, ports, and the speaker are accessible with no issue.Honestly I think this is a great alternative to an actual pink controller and I would totally recommend this skin. Its durable, protective, easily accessible, cute, effective, and for a great price.Looks as pictured (Slightly lighter pink). It fits the controller great and makes for a comfortable playing experience. I strictly got it so I could have a pink controller, but have enjoyed the other benefits of having it on the controller. When it came, I was worried that it would snap and break very quickly. So far it has lasted much longer than I anticipated, even with taking it on and off often. The only thing I don't like about this product is that I have to take it off to charge the controller on the charging station that I have. If you charge with the regular charging cable, I don't think you would have this issue, but with the charging station, it doesn't fit properly so it wont charge.I bought this PS4 controller cover a gift for my mom (makes a great stocking stuffer!). Pink is her favorite color, but there are no pink PS4 controllers available. She loves the color of the cover; it is solid pink, so even on the black controller it maintains its color. I was worried about getting the cover onto the controller, but it went on just fine with no tears, rips, holes, or stretching. The silicon is soft but not sticky, and the grips on the back make the controller easy to handle. She says it helps reduce hand fatigue because the grip is much nicer. I gave it to her last year, and she still comments about how much she loves it!Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend.Bought for my wife since PS wont make a pink controller. She has been playing about 2 hours and has the following feedback. Item is NOT a perfect fit for controller but is VERY VERY close. Slightly difficult to press OPTIONS button with cover on and the hole for the "x" button presses against the side of the button a little causing some slight resistance (does not seem to effect game play). over all the cover is not too thick, and does not effect the "feel" of the controller it's self.Since Sony seems to forget the color pink for the PS4, I took matter into my own hands and got this cover. It is amazing (after 4 days). First of all is as easy as open the box, pull it over the controller (don't be afraid of streching it) and put the knobs where they should go and that's it!. At first it will feel "weird" because probably your PS4 controller did not have a cover (it took me 3-4 days to get used to the girth) and for the silicon to fall to its place. It looks awesome and I'm happy. I strongly recommend this.It does what it's meant to do. My girlfriend likes it... so that's why I gave it 4 stars. If you are at all into competitive gaming (sports, FPS, etc.) this skin is just thick enough to make it slightly harder to find/press the buttons. I think the controllers are made perfectly, so you exactly enough clearance on the buttons. This sleeve reduces that clearance slightly, but what did you expect.Other than that, it fits nicely.I feel better having something to protect my controller from minor dings, and it feels really good in the hand. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, movement of the thumb sticks is restricted because the material comes up to far. It also does indeed collect a lot of pet hair, dust and debris, but that's to be expected from cheap silicone so that doesn't bother me so much. While a skin might have looked better, I prefer having as much of the controller protected as possible.It is good for regular gaming and helps a lot with it not slipping. BUT it is not good for fighting games!!!!!!!! The color is super cute and it is pretty easy to get on and off.
