TLDR: Buy it, no buy two, its great. This is an unbranded controller, the manual refers to it at Wireless Pro Game Controller for SWH. Model No. 8585-A (V1.2). This same exact controller is sold by other sellers on Amazon for $30. I was so impressed by its functionality that I ordered a second one (at the time on sale for $14). It just works, it's comfortable, I like it. I have never used the official pro controller before, so I cannot comment on how it compares, but I have used other after market ones. The keys on this one have a nice responsive feel, but they are not as loud in their clickyness as other controllers (if thats what you like). This one charges using USB-PD from what I can tell - while others I have used will only charge using usb a-c, this one will charge using the included usb a-c and my laptop or phone c-c charger. Its only a 380MA battery, but you can use while charging and its lasted 4 hours of play without having to recharge - I cannot speak to the 8 hour claim they make - just haven't played that long. Lastly, like all aftermarket controllers, it will not wake your switch up from sleep, but after using a joycon or the switch power button to wake your switch it will immediately connect after pairing at-least once. Unlike official controllers, you push the home key on this to connect, not SL/SR.Overall, this is a great controller, I will update this review if I run into any issues but so far so great. This controller is responsive, comfortable, easy to sync and affordable, which makes it perfect for couch multiplayer. At this price point, the fact that it's not only wireless but also gyro enabled and charges through USB-C truly impresses me. The buttons, bumpers, triggers and sticks all have good travel lenght, which makes it great for games like Smash Ultimate and Mario Odyssey, and the d-pad and motion controls are both very precise, so it's great for 2D platformers and games with gyro aim like BotW. The turbo function is also quite useful under the right circumstances. The build quality is nice too, it looks good, feels sturdy, and the back is textured, which makes it easier to grip. Battery is as advertised.Obviously everything above is in relation to the price, this is not going to be the best controller you'll ever have, but at this price point what you get is mind blowing! I have nothing but praise for this controller. Full recommendation.I bought this controller to use with my PC for emulation. I was hoping I might be able to connect it over bluetooth and use it wirelessly but unfortunately it only works over USB. The included USB cable is also very short so if you plan to use it this way be aware you may want to have a longer cable to use with it. That said, I wasn't expecting much at this price and it functions better than other controllers I've tried in this price range. It's relatively comfortable to hold and while it does feel like a third party controller it seems pretty sturdy. The sticks and buttons all seem to function well enough. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a cheap controller.I loved the fact that when I needed these controllers, I had them in 2 daysThe controller feels really good in the hands and the body itself is made from great materials. Sadly, the triggers are not and there is a cut off on the top where you can not press in the R and L buttons. You have to do a weird claw to press them. Hopefully it will wear over time where they are easier to press in. They could be just stiff as I just got it today. All in all it is a hybrid of a switch pro controller and an Xbox one controller with analog triggers.Perfect middle ground size for both child and adult use. Paired easily (follow the instructions!). I originally got the smaller one from another seller for myself just due to style, but this black one is just nicer to hold so I end up using it and handing the tiny one off to my 6yo. I don't own a switch pro controller, but I own just about every other controller including vintage consoles, mad catz ps2 controllers, steel series nimbus. I would compare this one closely with the nimbus. Nice weight, smooth sticks, good feel on the buttons. Sleek design. Great buy at this price point! These wii remotes work but let’s just say we get upset if we’re stuck using these. There’s definitely a small delay and the jump button doesn’t pop up like it should. Definitely at a disadvantage if you use these remotes. So I can't speak to the functionality of this controller because I bought it for my 9 month old so she could chew on it and beat it up and leave our real controllers alone. It is a nice controller for the price, I'd consider this one as an inexpensive replacement.
